Hi Fergal,

Great news that we don't need brown tags. They were a nightmare to deal with.

Has anyone ever done a survey to see which method produces the best results on the Bandon during specific months and over the season as a whole, ie fly, worm, shrimp & spinning?

Any chance you could introduce a system where we could start our own topics because some comments are not really relevant to the topic heading.

Thanks and all the best for 2012.

Hey colum!

Look up the salmon stats on the IFI website and you will see a graph at the end of the report for every year showing the percentage of fish caught to each method. Think 2010 showed that spinning was the biggest catcher, followed by fly and the worm.

Thanks Jason, you'd wonder was spinning the biggest catcher because more man hours were spent spinning, ah just to catch a salmon!!

Definately Colum, you can only fish prawn/shrimp/worm for 3 and a half months out of a season lasting 7 and a half! Although you can fish worm in September outside of club waters.
