Hi to all. Rob Smyth had a successful catch up river today, landing a 10lb fish on the fly. i will keep you posted on more details and the photo is on its way.

Hi Folks!! The latest news on salmon catches on the river is from John walsh who landed a fine specimen of a cock fish. The 13lb beauty was caught on a flying (C) up river. Also, there was at least 2 fish caught on the weir today. You can see the photos on facebook and i will have them on our website over the next day or so.

Hi Folks, We had a great day out on the Blackwater lodge Yesterday. Anthony Buckley was the 1st to land an 8.2lb fresh salmon on the fly and Rob Smyth was the next to land a 2.5lb Grilse on the fly. Please click on the above link to see photos of the lads. More photos of the event to follow!!

Hi to all. Anthony Buckley caught a lovely 6.5lb fish yesterday up river. It was caught on a flying C. He also missed another fish. There was at least 2 or 3 other catches on the river of which we have not received details on yet, but it sure is a nice start with water levels perfect for fishing. Tight Lines!!! and remember to let us know if you have caught anything.
